Details: Trump did not disclose any further details about the proposed agreement. His remarks came after his meeting on 5 November with Kirill Dmitriev, Russian leader Vladimir Putin's envoy.

Journalists also asked Trump whether he had raised the issue of Russian strikes on Ukrainian civilians during his conversations with Putin. In response, the US president said he consistently draws attention to this issue with both sides.

Trump estimated that the combined losses of Russia and Ukraine in the war amount to around 25,000 casualties every month.
