On June 22, Pecherskyi Court in Kyiv requested the Prosecutor General’s Office (GPU) to take account of information provided by the ex-Head of the State Security Service (SBU) Valentyn Nalyvaichenko on an offshore company Intraco allegedly associated with President Poroshenko, as Nalyvaichenko informed [ed.: the text of this Facebook post is in the Ukrainian language] on his Facebook page.

It concerns a statement Nalyvaichenko made on May 16, 2016. The ex-SBU Head noted that this statement was a follow-up to his previous message as of August 26, 2015. Both statements also reveal two more offshore companies – Kitromi Limited and ‎Vincenz Limited – allegedly associated with Intraco.

In addition to the GPU, Nalyvaichenko submitted the latest statement to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and parliamentary anti-corruption committee.

"For almost a year the GPU has not performed their duty to verify my information and register it in due course. However, the recent court decision mandates the GPU to take account of my statement and register it in the Unified Registry of pre-trial investigations," he highlighted.

Intraco is reported to be property of Serhii Zaitsev, Deputy CEO of Poroshenko’s Roshen company. However, Zaitsev stresses neither Poroshenko nor Igor Kononenko, Deputy Head of Petro Poroshenko Bloc in parliament, have a bearing on Intraco. Information about this offshore company was revealed last year along with evidence proving Poroshenko’s and Kononenko’s involvement in the case.
