Privatization Revenues Drop Threefold

During January-June 2016, the state budget earned ₴42 million ($1.7 million) from privatization – 2.8 times less than for the same period of 2015, UNIAN cites the report of the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU).

Central and regional offices of the SPFU sold 63 government assets and 137 community assets, the report reads.

In June, the SPFU listed for sale 19 stocks of shares of state-run companies with a total worth of ₴82 million ($3.25 million) and sold five stocks with total worth of ₴831 thousand ($33 thousand).

In 2015, the state budget earned ₴151.5 million ($6.05 million) from privatization. This was a threefold decrease compared to 2014.
