Ivano-Frankivsk Elects Member of UKROP party to the Rada

Victor Shevchenko of the UKROP party won the by-election to the Rada in electoral district No. 85 (Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast), the Central Elections Committee reports after processing 100% of the digital protocols.
Shevchenko was elected with 11 043 (21.19%) votes. The runner-up is Serhiy Nasalyk — a candidate from Poroshenko Bloc, brother of the Energy Minister Ihor Nasalyk and the mayor of Rohatyn. He got 10 278 (19.72%) votes.
On July 17, 2016 by-elections to the Rada were held in seven electoral districts in Volyn, Ivano-Frankivsk, Luhansk, and Poltava Oblasts and in the cities of Dnipro, Kherson and Chernihiv.
