In an interview to liga.net Ukrainian multi-millionaire Vasyl Khmelnytskyi, who owns Zhulyany International Airport of Kyiv admitted he may sell this asset, if a buyer offers a decent price. "So far I haven’t received such offers," — added the businessman.

"I don’t know how much Zhulyany is really worth. We spent $70 million on it, completed building the new terminals and got a loan of $50 million. Nowadays the EBITDA of Zhulyany is $11 million, to get market valuation it should be multiplied by six. And I like how it sounds: "Khmelnytskyi owns an airport," — he boasted.

The businessman added that he plans to add new airlines and destinations and improve airport services. "Yes, we are working on each flight, we are increasing the flow of passengers and minimizing expenses. We are not going to sell it without a profit, the airport must work effectively," — Khmelnytskyi expressed his views on the valuation of his asset.
