Open Competition Ongoing for Head of Assets Recovery Agency

A selection commission has allowed 17 of the 20 candidates who applied for the position of the Head of the National Agency on Detection, Tracing, and Management of Assets obtained via Corruption and Other Crimes to participate in the competition, Interfax Ukraine reports, citing the Government Commissioner for Anti-Corruption Policy.

The selection of the Head of Agency will be performed in two stages, tests and interview. The results will be announced on September 16. The selection commission includes nine people — journalists, legal experts, and representatives of anti-corruption NGOs.

The candidate is required to have good command of the state language and be a Ukrainian citizen, have no convictions and pass special open asset and income checks.
