Details: Haidai said that despite relentless shelling, evacuations take place every day.

In total, 250 people have been evacuated from areas of Russian military aggression in the Luhansk region today [2 April].

Haidai noted that a large number of people wanted to leave Lysychansk, where 1,300 residents were evacuated yesterday [1 April].

According to Haidai: "Of course it is easier to evacuate people during a ceasefire, but in some cities Russians never stop shooting, despite any [ceasefire] agreements. For example, in Hirske – the situation there was very dangerous both yesterday and today. Still, we have already managed to evacuate 60 residents this morning.

Over the previous day, Russians have shelled almost every village in the Hirske community. Remaining in Hirske is extremely dangerous. We are trying to deliver food to those Ukrainians who remain there. Evacuations continue."
