More than 4,600 people evacuated through humanitarian corridors, buses go to Melitopol

4,676 people were evacuated through humanitarian corridors on Thursday. Evacuation buses should arrive in occupied Melitopol on the same day.

Quote: "Today a convoy of 9 evacuation buses will arrive in Melitopol. Humanitarian aid will also be delivered by buses. Tomorrow morning the buses will be sent to Zaporizhzhia. The meeting point will be at 12, Ivana Aleksieieva Street (fire department #10).

Also, 2 evacuation buses have arrived in Tokmak today. The buses are scheduled to depart tomorrow morning. The meeting point is at 5, Shevchenko Street."

Details: 3,256 people travelled to Zaporizhzhia through humanitarian corridors from Mariupol and Berdiansk in their own vehicles and on evacuation buses today. 1,205 of them are from Mariupol.

2,050 people arrived from towns in the Zaporizhzhia oblast: Polohy, Vasylivka, Berdiansk and Melitopol.

On Friday morning evacuation buses for people in Berdiansk will be sent from Zaporizhzhia. 

On Thursday, 1,420 people were evacuated from the cities of Lysychansk, Sievierodonetsk, Rubizhne and Kreminna in the Luhansk region.

"Tomorrow we will continue to work on the humanitarian corridors for Mariupol and the blocked cities of the Zaporizhzhia region, as well as for the evacuation of people from the cities of the Luhansk region", Vereshchuk said.
