Employees of nursery schools and banks in Donetsk are being forced to go to Mariupol and nearby settlements - Manhush, Nikolske and Yalta.

According to the Chief Intelligence Directorate, the heads of preschools in occupied Donetsk have received an order demanding that they "select staff".

The Russian occupying administration says this is due to the need to "organise work on the ground".

The occupiers are also selecting staff from banking institutions.

The Ukrainian intelligence agency assumes that the management of the local financial sector will be completely under the occupiers’ control.

"This staff transfer is due to the fact that the occupying administrations do not trust the local population.

The mass exodus of staff to Ukrainian-controlled territory, and the refusal of some employees to cooperate with the occupying authorities, are also factors", Ukrainian intelligence commented.

At the same time, staff who are being prepared for relocation to other regions are opposed to this decision.

Some are threatening to resign if orders are not revoked, intelligence said.
