The mobile teams will respond quickly to emergencies if the Russians use new banned weapons, said Chief Medical Officer Ihor Kuzin.

"An enemy who does not follow any of the rules of war is conducting a war against us.

That is why we must be ready to react to situations of any kind and constantly monitor whether environmental indicators are normal", Kuzin said.

These teams also deal with the epidemiological situation in the occupied territories. They test drinking water, disinfect premises, and carry out insect and vermin control.

Their work also includes studying soils near the sites of chemical accidents, fuel and chemical warehouses, and industrial enterprises.

In total, this work is 100% complete in Kyiv Oblast, 70% in the Chernihiv region and 40% in the Sumy region.
