Connection restored between occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Station and IAEA

The connection between the servers of the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Station for nuclear material control and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has been restored.
The company announced this on social media.
The announcement mentioned that the connection was lost on 30 May when the Russian invaders turned off Vodafone in Enerhodar. Vodafone is the mobile operator with which the IAEA has a data transmission contract.
"However, all data for this period was stored on secure servers at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Station and was transmitted to the IAEA as soon as the connection was restored. The IAEA received the appropriate notification," the announcement says.
IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi said that the IAEA’s lack of data and inability to obtain it in the usual way are the main reason why he needs to visit the nuclear power plant personally.
Reminder:
It was previously reported that the IAEA is planning a visit to the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Station, but Energoatom says that this statement is an attempt to enter the facility in order to legitimise the occupiers’ presence there.
