DANA HORDIICHUK, ECONOMICHNA PRAVDA – THURSDAY, 30 JUNE 2022, 13:50

The Russian occupation "authorities" of the Zaporizhzhia region have stated that the first ship with grain has left the port of Berdyansk - the Russians are stealing it from Ukrainian farmers.

The Kremlin media write about this citing Yevhen Balytskyi, who was appointed by the occupiers as the "head" of the occupation administration of the Zaporizhzhia region.

Balytskyi says that there are 7,000 tons of grain on the ship, which is going to "friendly countries". It was reported earlier that Russia is exporting stolen Ukrainian grain to Syria, in particular.

Background:

The grain that the Russian occupiers are stealing from Ukrainian farmers in the temporarily occupied territories is exported to Syria, among other countries; the aggressor has already sent 100,000 tons of wheat, worth $ 40 million, to Syria.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy says that the Russians have stolen about 500,000 tons of grain - this is a third of the volume available in the occupied territories. They tried to "export" part of this grain to Egypt.
