Kyiv was shelled from the Caspian Sea - Air Force

On the morning of 5 June, Russian occupying forces fired several missiles towards Kyiv from the Caspian Sea.

Details: At about 06.00, soldiers from the anti-aircraft missile forces of Centre Air Command detected [missiles] and fired on them - one cruise missile was destroyed.

According to preliminary data, Russian troops launched missiles from Tu-95 aircraft from the Caspian Sea.

Background: At about 6 am on 5 June, 5 explosions were heard on Kyiv’s Livyi Bereh [Left Bank], and Mayor Vitalii Klychko reported missile strikes on infrastructure facilities in the Darnytsia and Dniprovskyi districts of Kyiv.
