The Ukrainian Armed Forces have confirmed that Russian Major General Roman Kutuzov has been killed.

Background: The death of Kutuzov was reported earlier by Alexander Sladkov, a correspondent of the Russian propaganda TV and radio broadcasting company VGTRK. The general was reportedly killed in the village of Mykolayivka, Popasna district, Luhansk Oblast.
