Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration, says that the authorities are working on organising 4 evacuation corridors from the temporarily occupied territories of the region, and "there are prospects" in this regard.

Quote from Syniehubov: "We are constantly asking, through the Office of the President, through the relevant Ministry of Reintegration, about possible evacuation and humanitarian corridors. Now we’ve requested four routes again.

Tentatively, very tentatively, there are prospects in this direction (I am saying this very cautiously), and we are waiting. As soon as it becomes possible to arrange an evacuation, we will do it."

Details: Syniehubov also reminded us that it is now possible for one of the areas to be evacuated on a weekly basis. 943 people, including 16 children, were evacuated on Monday.

Syniehubov also said that since 24 February, 972 civilians, including a 7-month-old child, have been killed as a result of armed Russian aggression in the Kharkiv region.

"972 of our civilian residents have been killed... and 48 children, the youngest of whom was only seven months old... As for people who have been injured, there are thousands of them, civilians, more than 200 children in the oblast," he said.

Syniehubov stressed that this figure is not final and may rise, because the work of sorting through the rubble of the destroyed houses is not yet finished, and there may be dead bodies under the debris.

Syniehubov also said that more than 4,000 buildings have been damaged as a result of strikes and shelling.
