Russians focused on capturing the Bakhmut-Lysychansk highway – the General Staff report

In the Donetsk region the Russian forces have focused on taking the Bakhmut-Lysychansk highway and the Bilohorivka village under control.

Details: On the Sloviansk front Russians are trying to improve the tactical situation of their subdivisions. There have been artillery attacks near Dibrovne, Dolyna and Adamivka localities. The Ukrainian forces have successfully fought off a storming operation near Krasnopillia.

On the Donetsk front the occupiers focus on taking the Bakhmut-Lysychansk highway and the Bilohorivka village under control.

On the Kramatorsk front Russians have launched attacks on civil infrastructure near Kryva Luka and Serebrianka. They have launched an air missile strike near Siversk. Fighting continues near Bilohorivka.

On the Bakhmut front the occupiers have launched mortar, cannon and rocket artillery attacks on the Ukrainian forces near Kodema, Pokrovske, Zaitseve, Zalizne and Novoselivka.

Supported by artillery and operational and tactical aviation the occupiers are conducting storming operations near Spirne and Vershyna, the fighting continues.

On the Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Novopavlivsk and Zaporizhzhia fronts Russians keep launching artillery attacks along the front line. They have launched air strikes on the Ukrainian defence positions near Avdiivka.

On the Pivdennyi Buh front Russians have launched systematic cannon and rocket artillery attacks on civil and military infrastructure near the localities of Osokorivka, Dobrianka, Potomkine, Ivanivka, Bereznehuvate, Partyzanske, Chervona Dolyna, Kyselivka and Myrne. The threat of further missile attacks on the critical infrastructure of the region remains.

On the Volyn and Polissia fronts there have been no signs of the formation of Russian offensive subdivisions. At the same time the threat of air missile strikes from the territory of Belarus remains. Control and warning system checks are being carried out in the Armed Forces of Belarus.

On the Siversk front Russians reinforce security of the Ukrainian-Russian border region. Besides this, they have launched attacks on the Ukrainian positions near the Mkhy locality and an airstrike near Esman.

On the Kharkiv front Russians keep their defence at the positions they’ve taken earlier. They’ve been using tanks, mortars, cannon and rocket artillery to launch attacks in the districts of such localities as Udy, Dementiivka, Nove, Ruski Tyshky, Tsyrkuny, Kutuzivka, Bazalivka, Pryshyb, Shevelivka and Protopopivka. The occupiers have also been conducting storming operations near Sosnivka but to no avail, so they retreated. They’ve launched an air strike in the Kharkiv district.
