Anti-aircraft gunners shoot down Ka-52 attack helicopter in Donetsk Oblast

On 3 September, the Air Force of Ukraine’s Armed Forces shot down a Ka-52 Alligator, a Russian attack helicopter, in Donetsk Oblast.

Details: At about 10:30, a Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile unit shot down the Ka-52 and a Forpost unmanned aerial vehicle.

Background: On 2 September, the air defence forces of Ukraine destroyed 5 Russian UAVs. On the morning of 3 September, the Air Force repelled a missile attack on Dnipro city. Ukrainian aviation is successfully using HARM [anti-radar] missiles in combat.
