Russians launch rocket attacks on Kryvyi Rih district: oil depot on fire

Explosions were heard in Kryvyi Rih on the evening of 5 September as the Russians launched two rocket attacks, destroying an oil depot.

Details: Rescue workers reported that the Russian occupying forces fired rockets on the Karpivska hromada (amalgamated territorial community) in Kryvyi Rih district and destroyed the oil depot and all the fuel stocks there: "A huge fire broke out. Firefighters are at the scene. Information on casualties and the extent of the destruction is being confirmed."

The Kryvyi Rih and Nikopol districts in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast came under fire on 5 September.

The Russians attacked the homes of civilians, killing an elderly woman.

In particular, a fire broke out in an outbuilding in the Apostolove hromada (amalgamated territorial community) due to shelling from Uragan MLRS: a shell hit a gas pipeline.

In total, 13 residential buildings, several cars, two gas pipelines and three dozen solar panels were damaged in Apostolove.

Three people were injured - two women aged 59 and 78 and a 72-year-old man. All the injured people are now in hospital. One woman, born in 1936, was killed.

At 13.00, the occupiers hit the Nikopol district. The attack caused a fire in a wheat field and destroyed a forest belt covering an area of 3.5 hectares.
