Armed Forces of Ukraine push Russia's forces back by 50 km in Kharkiv region and regain 20 settlements

The Defence Forces of Ukraine have already returned more than 700 square kilometres on the Kharkiv and Pivdennyi Buh fronts under government control.

In general, our units in separate areas advanced from 2 to several dozen kilometres deep into the enemy's defences. A number of settlements were liberated [from the Russian army].

The total area of the territory returned to the control of Ukraine on the Kharkiv and Pivdennyi Buh fronts exceeds 700 square kilometres.

Details: According to Hromov, the military units have penetrated up to 50 kilometres deep into Russia's defences on the Kharkiv front. Filtration measures are ongoing in a number of settlements.

More than 20 settlements were liberated [from the Russian army] while conducting active actions on the Kharkiv front.

On the Kramatorsk  front, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine improved their tactical position and advanced to a depth of 2 kilometres.

In the course of offensive operations on the Sloviansk front, units of the 103rd Separate Territorial Defence Forces Brigade, together with units of the 15th Regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine, advanced 3 kilometres deep and liberated the village of Ozerne.

The group of the Defence Forces continues to conduct active actions on the Kherson front as well. Battles are taking place to improve the position on the frontline. The Russian army is partially demoralised, but continues to resist, the brigadier general noted.
