Kyiv’s central station still working despite blast wave damaging windows

Earlier this morning, a blast wave damaged the windows of the central railway station in Kyiv, but the station is still working.

"A blast wave has damaged the windows of the building of the central railway station in Kyiv, but the station is working, the disembarking and boarding of trains is carried out through the western and eastern underground passages, which also serve as shelters.

We activate the nerves of steel and carry on," the message reads.

Also, Ukrzaliznytsia warns about the possibility of delays on trains between western Ukraine due to damage along the network.

Reserve diesel locomotives are already being prepared to ensure uninterrupted traffic, the company added.
