Police shows how it shot down Russian drone in Kyiv using small arms

The police has published a video showing how law enforcement officers in Kyiv shot down an Iranian-made Shahed-136 drone using small arms.

Details: The Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs, Denys Monastyrskyi, confirmed that the police officers opened fire and managed to shoot down one drone during the morning attack on Kyiv with Shahed-136 drones.

Previously: Russian invaders attacked Kyiv with Iranian-made kamikaze drones on the morning of 17 October. The occupiers carried out four strikes, but even more explosions were heard. The drones hit a residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital, among other targets.

The Mayor of Kyiv, Vitalii Klychko, reported that 28 drones were heading in the direction of the capital in the morning. Most of the "flying terrorists" were shot down, but five explosions were heard in Kyiv (4 hits were reported earlier).

Preliminary information indicates that three people were killed as a result of a Russian rocket hitting a residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv in the morning of 17 October.

A 59-year-old woman and a young couple born in 1988 were killed. The couple were expecting a child. The woman was 6 months pregnant.
