Russian invaders attacked the city of Zaporizhzhia with rockets on the morning of 21 October.

Details: The air-raid all-clear was given in Zaporizhzhia Oblast at 08:26, but the siren sounded again at 08:37.

At 08:38, Oleksandr Starukh reported that "the enemy is attacking the city of Zaporizhzhia with rockets."

Later, he clarified that the enemy attacked Zaporizhzhia with S-300 missiles.


A residential building and city infrastructure facilities were damaged by Russian strikes.

According to preliminary information, there are no fatalities. There are three wounded. The information is being verified.

In a residential high-rise building, as a result of the attack, the gas system was damaged, a fire broke out, and a wall was destroyed. Specialised services are already working at the site.

The occupiers also targeted a school in one of Zaporizhzhia's districts. The roof of the school was damaged and the windows were broken.

There were also hits on infrastructure facilities and open areas.

There is a possibility of repeated attacks.

Later, the Head of Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration stated that there may be fragments of rockets in the city as a result of the Russian attack.

"Do not touch, do not come close, do not take pictures. These ammunition parts are explosive," he emphasised.
