Ukraine’s Armed Forces repel attacks near 10 settlements in a day – General Staff

On Thursday, 6 October, the Russians launched 6 rocket and 7 air strikes. The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled attacks in the area of 10 settlements.

Details: Today, the occupiers launched 6 rocket and 7 air strikes, carried out more than 23 attacks from MLRSs.
Facilities of more than 25 settlements were damaged by Russian strikes, as well as civilians were injured. These are particularly Zaporizhzhia, Shepetivka, Siversk, Bilohorivka, Olhivske and Hoptivka.
The Russian forces fired:
- On the Sivershchyna front - from tubed artillery, in the areas of the settlements of Senkivka, Yasna Poliana, Bleshnia of Chernihiv Oblast and Seredyna Buda, Kyianytsia and Fotovyzh of Sumy Oblast;
- On the Slobozhanshchyna front - from tanks, mortars, tubed and rocket artillery, in the areas of the settlements of Udy, Strilecha, Neskuchne, Hatyshche and Vilkhuvatka;
- On the Kramatorsk front - from mortars, tubed and rocket artillery, in the areas of the settlements of Spirne, Bilohorivka, Siversk and Verkhnokamianske;
- On the Bakhmut front - from artillery of various types, in the areas of settlements of Soledar, Bakhmut, Yakovlivka, Kurdiumivka, Niu-York and Zaitseve;
- On the Avdiivka front - from tanks, mortars, tubed and rocket artillery, in the areas of settlements of Avdiivka, Kamianka, Krasnohorivka, Pervomaiske, Paraskoviivka, Pisky and Novomykhailivka;
- The Russian forces did not carry out offensive actions on the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts. The infrastructure of more than twenty settlements was damaged by invaders’ shelling. In particular, Novoukrainka, Vremivka, Poltavka and Novopil.
- On the Pivdennyi Buh front, more than thirty settlements near the contact line were damaged by fire. Pravdyne, Myrne, Kyselivka, Kobzartsi and Velyke Artakove are among them.
Over the past day, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled invaders’ attacks in the areas of settlements of Soledar, Bakhmutske, Yakovlivka, Odradivka, Zaitseve, Bakhmut, Krasnohorivka, Pobieda, Vodiane and Liubomyrivka.
Ukrainian aviation carried out 11 strikes during the day. The destruction of one stronghold, 5 areas of concentration of weaponry and military equipment, as well as 5 anti-aircraft missile systems of the aggressor was confirmed. In addition, Ukrainian air defence units shot down 5 Russian UAVs, including two Shahed-136 and one Mohajer-6.
During the current day, Rocket Forces and Artillery hit 19 areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, 2 ammunition depots and 6 pieces of artillery.
