"This is particularly important right now, as the Kremlin is once again committing genocidal acts against the Ukrainian people. This question has to be discussed in great detail. We believe that justice will be served," the president said.

The UK prime minister, for his part, commended the courage of the Ukrainian people, saying that it was an inspiration to the whole world.

Previously: Dmytro Kuleba, the Foreign Minister of Ukraine, called on the Netherlands to recognise the Holodomor as a genocide of the Ukrainian people.
