Details: Due to the cold weather, electricity consumption by household consumers is gradually increasing. Therefore, the restrictions on consumption continue in force due to the power shortfall, which is currently an estimated 20%.

Ukrenergo informs regional power distribution companies of the consumption limits for each oblast, and these cannot be exceeded; each distribution system operator must independently determine the types of outages, whether emergency or planned, and apply them directly.

In particular, 50% of all consumers can now use electricity and water simultaneously in Lviv Oblast. 718 settlements of the oblast are cut off from electricity, and 314 are partially without power.

Background: As of the morning of 26 November, one more nuclear power unit was put into operation, thus reducing the electricity deficit to 25%.
