UN representatives visit invincibility centre in liberated Kherson

Representatives of the UN have arrived in the city of Kherson on a working trip, and visited an invincibility centre [a warm-up point with Internet access, tea and coffee; thousands of such points have been established all over Ukraine-controlled territory recently].

Quote from Yanushevych: "Martin Griffiths, UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, and Denise Brown, the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Ukraine, came to our city. Together, we talked to people at invincibility centres and points where humanitarian aid is distributed."

Details: Yanushevych promised to "solve more problematic issues of the Kherson citizens with the assistance of the UN."

Background:

The other day, the Ukrainian authorities created an online map of shelters and invincibility centres for Kherson residents so that they could protect themselves during Russian attacks.
