This is all the baseness and meanness of Russia. They talk about the ‘Christmas truce’ in the morning, and they kill a whole family by lunchtime. What are the husband, wife and their 12-year-old son guilty of?

Only because they are Ukrainians? People were preparing to celebrate Christmas together, but a cynical strike by Russians killed them in their own home..."

Details: Tymoshenko expressed his condolences to relatives and friends. Yaroslav Yanushevych, Head of Kherson Oblast Military Administration, did not provide any other details. He only retweeted the message of the deputy head of the President’s Office on his Telegram.

Background: On 5 January, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill, who has publicly approved of the Russian Federation’s war against Ukraine, suddenly claimed that he is calling for a "Christmas truce".

Mykhailo Podoliak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President, has said that the "Christmas truce" proposed by the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill, is a cynical trap.
