The United States of America leaves it up to Ukraine to decide on the outline of the future victory, but expects the establishment of a "just" and "sustainable" peace.

Quote: "We will support the decision on the future of Ukraine that the Ukrainians will make. But we all have a sincere interest in making it a just peace and a sustainable peace," Blinken said, after which he explained in detail what he meant by these terms.

According to him, "just" means a peace agreement that will comply with the principles of the UN Charter. At the same time, he considers any territorial actions against the aggressor incompatible with this approach. "It is fundamentally contrary to the interests of any country if the aggressor can defend the [occupied] territory by force. Because in this case, each aggressor will conclude: if Russia can achieve this, then we can also achieve this. This is the path to a world filled with conflicts," Blinken explained his categorical attitude.

Crimea, according to the United States and international law, is also a Ukrainian territory that should not remain with the aggressor.

"Sustainable peace means that we will do everything possible so that Russia cannot just repeat the same thing. In a year or in five. This means that Ukraine can deter Russia, and if necessary, protect itself from aggression," Anthony Blinken added.

Dmytro Kuleba, who was sitting next to him, confirmed that Ukraine will accept only such a victory, which will mean the full restoration of territorial integrity.

As reported by European Pravda, earlier in Munich, the new German Defence Minister has promised to achieve Ukraine's victory in the war. Before, there was also a dispute in Munich about insinuations about Ukraine's concessions in the war.
