Details: Reznikov's resignation is again under consideration; according to Ukrainska Pravda, it has moved from theoretically possible to practically possible.
Reznikov's resignation was already discussed in early February after a series of scandals. The candidate for Minister of Defence then was Kyrylo Budanov, Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence Chief.
Reznikov himself once expressed a desire to work as Minister of Justice, but he did not accept the position of Minister for Strategic Industries, so in February everyone remained in their places.
Now, according to Ukrainska Pravda, Zelenskyy once again looks into candidates to replace Reznikov, and there have already been discussions with two of them.
The first is Oleksandr Kubrakov, the Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine, and the second is Oleksandr Kamyshin, the Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine.
Ukrainska Pravda was not informed whether there were conversations with other candidates.
Reznikov allegedly does not mind becoming ambassador to the United Kingdom, but whether such an opportunity is actually being considered is also not known.
