Ukraine receives 6,000 tonnes of equipment for its energy sector from 34 countries

Since the beginning of 2023, Ukraine has received 496 cargoes of humanitarian aid for the energy sector from 34 countries, with a total weight of 5,938 tonnes.

Details: It is noted that 120 companies, government institutions and public organisations from 34 countries became donors of assistance for Ukraine’s energy sector this year.

The ministry adds that the energy companies of Mykolaiv Oblast (657 tonnes), Donetsk Oblast (494 tonnes) and Kherson Oblast (454 tonnes) received the most assistance. A significant amount of equipment from partners was also transferred for the needs of energy companies in Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia and Odesa oblasts.

Quote: "Among the equipment received from partners are generators, transformers and autotransformers, overvoltage limiters, circuit breakers of various capacities, special equipment, etc. Part of the equipment received (over 5,200 tonnes) has already been distributed among 104 companies in the fuel and energy sector," the report said.

Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Ukraine has received more than 10,500 tonnes of energy equipment from 35 countries.
