58 houses in Odesa left without heat after Russian night attack

A nighttime Russian drone attack on Odesa has damaged heat supply systems in one of the housing complexes and left 58 houses without heat. Promises have been made to have the heat supply restored within a day.

"Last night, the enemy launched another attack on the civilian population of Odesa Oblast using attack drones. Thanks to the air defence forces, all aerial targets were shot down, but I must add that the wreckage of the downed drones fell on residential buildings," Kharlov said.

According to Kharlov, five residential buildings were damaged, with one apartment building taking the most damage – 130 residents were evacuated. 

"The heating systems of the housing complex were also damaged; as of now, 58 houses remain without heat," Kharlov said. 

He added that municipal services are working at an expedited pace; according to Oleksandr Kharlov, the aftermath will be dealt with and heat supply restored all within a day.
