"Under the influence of circumstances, the Futuromarennia project, which took place in Kyiv in late 2021 and early 2022, has undergone significant changes. These reasons are quite tragic and forced us to shift the focus of our research, focusing on the problem of appropriation of Ukrainian cultural heritage by Russian culture. We also placed a special emphasis on the damage suffered by Ukrainian cultural heritage from the Russian aggressor," Olha Melnyk, the exhibition's co-curator, told Ukrainska Pravda.Kultura (Culture).

Earlier, it was also exhibited at the KUMU Art Museum in Tallinn under the updated title Futuromarennia: Ukraine and Avant-Garde.

The Belgian project was implemented by FeliX Art & Eco Museum and Mystetskyi Arsenal.
