Details: Due to water hammers caused by the power outages, the water supply network in the village of Tekstylne near Kherson has experienced disruptions in water supply.

Specialists from Kherson Vodokanal [the water supply service - ed.] will have increased the pressure in the water supply network by the end of the day and the people of Tekstylne will have water for the weekend. Next week, the specialists will start repairing the damaged section of the water supply system.

"If possible, please stockpile water to meet your needs," added Mrochko.

Background: As of the morning of 12 April, 399 settlements have been cut off from the power grid, with power outages occurring in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Sumy, Kharkiv and Kherson oblasts because of combat action. There have been emergency power outages in Kharkiv Oblast and about 210,000 households have been left without electricity.
