Details: Both former soldiers sustained severe injuries during the war and each had a limb amputated.
Quote from Superhumans’ social media: "This is an incredible love story that unfolded before our eyes. Veterans Oleksii and Anastasiia met less than a year ago during rehabilitation at Superhumans. Oleksii was mastering a thigh prosthesis, while Anastasiia was learning to walk again after losing her lower leg.
We are deeply moved that Superhumans not only restores lost abilities but also creates new families."

Olha Rudnieva, the director of the clinic, posted a video on Instagram showing the couple dancing at their wedding.
"A motivational video from Anastasiia and Oleksii: those who complete their rehabilitation well at Superhumans dance beautifully at their wedding," Rudnieva added to her post.
More details: Anastasiia, a sniper, was previously featured in the UP 100: The Power of Women. She shared that she had joined the military without hesitation a few months before she turned 24.
She has a six-year-old son, Yarema, who stayed with her parents during her service. While on duty, Anastasiia suffered injuries that meant her lower leg had to be amputated. She admitted that during the battle, she was ready to die, believing her chances of survival were slim.
But during her rehabilitation at the Superhumans Center, Anastasiia met Oleksii, a serviceman who had also undergone a leg amputation due to injuries.
"We met here, and that’s where our story began," Oleksii said.
The couple got engaged in May 2024.
