Russian forces have attacked the city of Semenivka in Chernihiv Oblast using drones on 10 January. A local woman has been injured as a result of the attack.

Quote from Chaus: "The enemy attacked Semenivka again. There was a strike by a Geran-2 (Geranium-2) drone. Five explosions were reported.

Details: Chaus also mentioned that the Russians damaged two houses and business premises. The attack caused a fire in a non-residential building.

Background:
- Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 72 Shahed-type loitering munitions and various types of decoy drones on the night of 9-10 January. Ukrainian air defence units have destroyed 33 UAVs, while a further 34 Russian decoy drones disappeared from radar, with one changing course and heading towards Russia.
- On 4 January, the Russians attacked the town of Semenivka near the border of Chernihiv Oblast with guided aerial bombs, injuring at least seven people.
