Background:
- On the evening of 28 March, Russian forces launched a drone attack on the city of Dnipro, leaving four people dead and 21 injured. One of the hits caused a large-scale fire in a hotel and restaurant complex.
- President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that Russia had attacked Ukraine with more than 170 drones on the evening of 28 March and the night of 28-29 March.
- On the afternoon of 29 March, Russia struck Kryvyi Rih with ballistic missiles, leaving five people injured.
