Loitering munitions operated by Ukraine's Security Service attacked the Promsyntez plant in the city of Chapayevsk in Russia's Samara Oblast on the night of 4-5 April.

Details: The source noted that this plant is a leading producer of industrial explosives, such as ammonal, ammonite and granulite, within the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries.

At least 20 explosions and several fires are reported to have occurred at the plant.

The plant's management has suspended production processes.

Background: On the night of 4-5 April, Ukrainian drones are said to have attacked an industrial plant in Russia's Samara Oblast, causing a fire.
