Emergency workers continue for the second day to clear and douse the rubble of a building in the Obolonskyi district in Kyiv that was damaged in a Russian missile strike on the morning of 6 April.

Background:

  • The Russians conducted a ballistic missile strike on Kyiv on the morning of 6 April, causing fires.
  • Initially, it was reported that three people had been injured. Later it became known that the body of a man had been found in the Darnytskyi district.
  • Buildings housing the editorial offices of the state-owned International Broadcasting Multimedia Platform of Ukraine were severely damaged in a Russian ballistic missile attack on Kyiv on the night of 5-6 April.
