Trump's special envoy Witkoff, now visiting Russia, will also meet with Putin

Steve Witkoff, US President Donald Trump's Special Envoy to the Middle East, who is on a visit to Russia, will meet with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin.

Source: Kremlin-aligned Russian news agency Interfax, citing Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov, as reported by European Pravda

Details: Peskov, who initially did not confirm whether a meeting was being prepared, has now stated that "such a meeting will take place".

Witkoff and Putin will meet in St Petersburg, where Witkoff also held talks with Kirill Dmitriev, Putin's Special Envoy for Investment and Economic Cooperation.
