DeepState, a Ukrainian group of military analysts, has reported that the Russians have advanced in Donetsk Oblast.

Details: An updated map of hostilities posted on 23 June shows that Russian troops have advanced near five settlements: Klishchiivka, Dachne, Toretsk, Fedorivka and Shevchenko.

Background:
- There were 142 combat engagements on the front line on 22 June, with 44 clashes taking place on the Pokrovsk front where Ukrainian defenders repelled numerous Russian attacks.
- The DeepState project has analysed Russian actions at the line of contact in June and noted that the Russians have been trying to maintain the intensity of their assault operations and that attacks had intensified in the second ten days of the month.
