Georgii Tykhyi, spokesperson for Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has said Ukraine does not need advice from Hungarian officials on exchanging territory or sovereignty.

Details: Earlier, Levente Magyar, Hungary's Deputy Foreign Minister, referenced how Hungary had ceded two-thirds of its territory after World War I "for the sake of peace".

During his speech, he hinted that Ukraine should now give up one-fifth of its territory, adding that "peace is sometimes painful".

Tykhyi responded: "Hungary may trade its land or sovereignty if it wants. Ukraine does not, and advice is not welcome."
