Russians launch missile strike on Balakliia in Kharkiv Oblast: 1 killed, 9 injured

Russian forces launched a missile strike on the town of Balakliia in Kharkiv Oblast on 1 October, killing one woman and injuring 10 people.

Quote from Syniehubov: "The occupiers launched a missile strike on Balakliia. A 70-year-old woman was killed as a result of the enemy attack.
Four women aged 79, 78, 35 and 60 were injured. They have been taken to hospital."
Details: An 88-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction.
Early reports indicate that the missile hit the ground near a five-storey residential building. A fire broke out in one of the flats, and a parked car also caught fire.
Updated: Later, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that the number of injured had risen to nine.



Updated at 23:49: Kharkiv Oblast Prosecutor's Office reported that 10 people had been injured in the attack, including a four-year-old girl. She has suffered an acute stress reaction.
