Russia loses 970 soldiers and 13 artillery systems over past day
Russia has lost 970 soldiers killed and wounded and more than 300 weapons and pieces of military equipment over the past day.

Quote: "Due to the constant receipt of updated intelligence data, it became necessary to adjust some of the figures for total enemy losses – artillery systems, multiple-launch rocket systems, air defence systems, operational-tactical UAVs, cruise missiles, vehicles and fuel tankers and special vehicles and other equipment. The total figure has been adjusted and daily losses are presented as usual."
Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 3 October 2025 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:
- approximately 1,113,430 (+970) military personnel
- 11,225 (+1) tanks
- 23,297 (+1) armoured combat vehicles
- 33,413 (+13) artillery systems
- 1,514 (+1) multiple-launch rocket systems
- 1,222 (+0) air defence systems
- 427 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft
- 346 (+0) helicopters
- 66,093 (+273) operational-tactical UAVs
- 3,793 (+0) cruise missiles
- 28 (+0) ships/boats
- 1 (+0) submarine
- 63,325 (+44) vehicles and fuel tankers
- 3,970 (+0) special vehicles and other equipment.
