Ukrainian drones strike key elements of Russian air defence in Voronezh Oblast

Ukraine's Special Operations Forces (SOF) have struck a P-14F Lena long-range detection radar and a Sopka-2 target-tracking radar system in Russia's Voronezh Oblast.

Details: The strikes were carried out on the night of 30 September-1 October, the SOF command told Ukrainska Pravda.

The P-14F Lena radar formed part of the airspace control system around the Buturlinovka military air base of the Russian Air Force in Voronezh Oblast.

The Sopka-2 track radar system was part of a continuous airspace surveillance system along the border with Ukraine. It was struck in the village of Garmashevka in Voronezh Oblast.

Quote: "Both elements of Russian air defence were aimed at countering Ukrainian UAVs, but it did not work out.

The SOF of Ukraine is continuing to carry out heavy strikes against the enemy, step by step bringing Russia closer towards complete exhaustion."
