Russia launched a large-scale combined attack on Ukraine's gas infrastructure on the night of 4-5 October.

Details: Koretskyi added that company specialists and emergency workers are working at the scenes to deal with the consequences and assess the extent of damage.
He noted that the targeted facilities have no military significance.
Background:
- On the night of 4-5 October, Russia launched more than 50 missiles and around 500 attack drones against Ukraine targeting Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Odesa and Kirovohrad oblasts.
- As a result of the attacks, a large part of the city of Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district has been left without power, and the situation remains difficult in Sumy and Chernihiv oblasts.
