Russia attacks Ukraine with over 150 UAVs and 2 Iskander missiles: hits recorded in 10 locations

Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 2 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles and 152 drones of the Shahed, Gerbera and other types on the night of 6-7 October.

Details: Early reports indicated that as of 09:00, air defence forces had destroyed or jammed 88 Russian drones, including Shahed, Gerbera and other types, in the country's north and east.

Hits by 2 missiles and 52 UAVs have been recorded in 10 locations and the fall of downed drones (debris) has been recorded in 2 locations.

Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces were involved in repelling the attack.

The Air Forces also warned that the attack is ongoing, with several Russian drones still in the airspace.
