Russia attacks Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv oblasts: man injured, agricultural facility destroyed

Russian forces attacked Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv oblasts throughout the day on 9 October with artillery, drones and aircraft, injuring a 68-year-old man and destroying an agricultural business facility while dozens of buildings were damaged.

Details: Throughout the day, Russian troops shelled the Nikopol district, including the city of Nikopol and the Marhanets, Myrove and Pokrovske hromadas, using artillery and FPV drones. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

A 68-year-old man sustained injuries and was taken to hospital in a moderate condition. Russian forces also damaged a local business facility; a non-residential building and a house caught fire, and four more houses were damaged.

In addition, an outbuilding and power lines were damaged.

In Kharkiv Oblast, Russian aircraft carried out a morning strike on the village of Pidlyman in the Izium district.

According to the Borova settlement council, a guided aerial bomb hit the premises belonging to an agricultural business facility, completely destroying it.

Russian forces also destroyed agricultural machinery and produce and damaged an administrative building, a cultural centre, a shop and several residential buildings.

Early reports indicate there had been no casualties.
