Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia: number of injured increases to 11, including first responder
The number of people injured in the Russian drone attack on Zaporizhzhia has risen to eleven, including a State Emergency Service (SES) rescue worker.

Details: According to Fedorov, medical assistance was required for two more men. A 46-year-old man will continue treatment at home after receiving care, while a 35-year-old SES first responder remains under examination.
Updated: Later, the prosecutor's office reported eight injured.
Quote from the prosecutor's office: "According to the investigation, between 01:10 and 05:15 on 10 October 2025, Russian forces carried out a combined attack on the infrastructure of Zaporizhzhia. Early reports show that the enemy used Shahed-136 UAVs, aerial bombs and various types of missiles."
Details: It is reported that one of the strikes hit a house, resulting in the death of a seven-year-old boy and injuries of varying severity to his sister and parents.
Critical infrastructure, apartment buildings near the strike sites and other city structures were also damaged.
Information on the number of casualties is being confirmed. An inspection of the sites is currently underway to determine the types and number of weapons used.
Prosecutors from the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Prosecutor's Office have launched a pre-trial investigation into the war crime that resulted in the death of a person (Article 438.2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Updated at 18:00: In the evening, Fedorov reported that the number of injured had risen to 11, two children among them.
Background:
- Earlier reports confirmed that a seven-year-old boy was killed in the attack.
- On the night of 9-10 October, Russia launched a combined strike on Ukraine using 32 missiles and 465 drones of various types. Air defence systems intercepted 420 aerial assets, there were strikes in 19 locations, and the Russian attack is still ongoing.
