Zelenskyy reveals cost and efficiency rate of interceptor drones
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that the success rate at which Ukrainian interceptor drones shoot down Russian attack UAVs stands at 68% and is set to continue to grow.

Details: Zelenskyy noted that several companies in Ukraine have begun large-scale production of interceptor drones.
Quote: "Now the percent of successful destroying is 68, but they will increase. The question now is in money and this is a real problem.
For one such little drone interceptor, the price is about US$3,500 to US$5,000, so it's the cheapest way. And when you use, for example, two or three against one Iranian-made Shahed, whose price is more than US$100,000. So this is a good instrument."
Details: Zelenskyy added that thousands of these interceptor drones are needed.
"We don't have for today enough money to put for private productions and private companies to increase their production. But I think that we will manage it," he said.
Background:
- In late August, it was reported that Ukraine's Defence Ministry had approved more than 25 models of Ukrainian interceptor UAV systems for use in military units.
- On 11 September, Ukrainian Defence Minister Denys Shmyhal said the United Kingdom would manufacture Ukrainian interceptor drones.
