Russia attacks Ukraine with 96 UAVs: 69 drones destroyed

Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 96 drones of the Shahed, Gerbera and other types on the night of 13-14 October. Ukrainian air defence forces have destroyed 69 UAVs, but 27 have reached their targets.

Quote: "As of 08:30, air defence forces had destroyed or jammed 69 enemy drones of the Shahed, Gerbera and other types in the country's north, south, east and centre.
Hits by 27 UAVs have been recorded in 7 locations and the fall of downed drones (debris) has been recorded in 1 location."
Details: The drones were launched from the Russian cities of Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Millerovo and from temporarily occupied Crimea.
About 60 of the 96 UAVs were Shahed drones.
Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces were involved in repelling the attack.
"The attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones still in the airspace. Please observe safety measures!" the Air Force concluded.
